IKO's Dynasty shingle carries a lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing defects. To be eligible for the full warranty — including extended coverage available exclusively through ROOFPRO certified contractors — the shingles must be installed to IKO's specifications by a certified installer. This means correct nail placement in the ArmourZone nailing strip, proper sealant activation, appropriate starter shingle installation, and correct ventilation meeting IKO's requirements. Shortcut any of these steps and the warranty applies in name but not in practice.
